The Dolj Pigeon Branch of COLUMBA organizes on Sunday, May 22, current year, the Award Gala of the Province of Oltenia, the most important pigeon fanciers event in the South-West of Romania. The award ceremony will take place in the event hall of the Restaurant “Casa Ghincea”, located on Calea Bucharest Boulevard, no.16. In addition to the provincial Top 3 in all distance categories in the Champions League, the top pigeon competition in Romania, this event will also award the winners of the National Stages, Tokmak and Izium, organized in 2021 by the Dolj Pigeon Association “Gelu Ioan Gătejescu” . At the same time, on this occasion, the deserving winners of the Oltenia Marathon Star will receive their well-deserved rewards after a difficult season, with marathon stages full of tension and emotion due to the weather conditions existing at the time they are being played.
