The Union of Pigeon Federations in Romania (UFCR) has, starting with Sunday, a new management team. Led by President Marius Tunduc, the team was elected with the vote of representatives of affiliated county associations, meeting on Sunday – October 17 in an election video conference imposed by the pandemic situation in Romania.

Thus, with 109 votes in favor, one against and two abstentions, the new composition of the UFCR Board of Directors for the next four years will be as follows:

Bilian Florian – Honorary President

Marius Tunduc – President

Șipoteanu Răzvan – Vice President – President of the National Discipline Commission

Pop Vasile Daniel – Vice President – President of the Standard Commission

Alexandru Florian Gătejescu – Vice President – Technical Manager – President of the National Pigeon Commission

Huzu Alexandru – Vice-Chairman – Chairman of the Commission for Pigeons

Zamfir Sorin Ovidiu – Vice President – Responsible for international representation

Dragomir Viorel Marian – Vice President – Responsible for promoting pigeon fancier sport and marketing department

Marta Daniel – Vice President – Head of the Gold Club

Feștilă Ioan – Member – Responsible for organizing the National Pigeon Exhibition

Tănase Constantin – Member – Responsible for organizing the Champions Gala

Dobre Cosmin – Member – Responsible for coordinating provincial events (Exhibitions and Banquets)

Schipor Adrian – Member – Responsible for the Nationals Gala.

Regarding the members of the National Pigeon Commission, voted with 110 votes for, one abstention and one against, we find here Macovschi Mihail, Milcu Ioan, Ungureanu Emil Iulius, Pavel Ioan, Ungureanu Ion Sebastian, Rasca Radu Alexanru, Cintu Florin Cristinel, Bălan Micu Mădălin, Suseanu Eduard and Carcu Mircea Ștefan. Florin Gătejescu will be president for the next four years. With 111 votes in favor and one abstention, the representatives of the affiliated county associations decided that, in the next four years, Răzvan Şipoteanu, as president, Pescaru Cătălin, Grecu Marius, Burcă Ioan, Drăghici Daniel, Sorescu Paul and Cernătoiu Remus Nicușor should be part of the National Discipline Commission. At the same time, the Censors Commission of UFCR will be composed of Sabău Doru (president), Pop Alin (member) and Filip Vladi (member), the three receiving 109 votes in favor, two against and one abstention.
